First Steps to Supporting Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Award (FST)
In 2022, I completed FST, a 20 credit module at Level 7 on the Postgraduate CPD Framework, alongside my PhD Research and teaching practice.
This module is an Advance HE accredited module that is taught and assessed by the Centre for Higher Education Research & Practice (CHERP) at Ulster University.
The module is accredited by Advance-HE and led to Associate HEA Fellowship (AFHEA) upon completion.
This module provided me with an opportunity to develop my understanding of effective learning, teaching, and assessment, as well as supporting my practice in these areas. It was particularly helpful in supporting my development and understanding of how to prepare and deliver effective learning sessions, as well as carrying out assessment and feedback that supports student learning.
